Tommy Hilfiger went back to the 90s, with the new Tommy Jeans range. The collection is a series of denim jackets, jeans, logo sweats and t-shirts. Hailey Baldwin and Lucky Blue Smith (best name ever) are the faces of the range. Let’s take a look at the collection and dive into the 90s style revival!
A pink bomber, need I say more?
Pastel colors are a major fashion trend this spring and I wanted to embrace this trend by adding this gorgeous pink bomber by Topshop to my wardrobe. Of course, bombers are a trend item that have been around for some time now, and it looks like it’s going to stay around. You can style it with a pair of jeans, culottes or with a pencil skirt or a-line skirt, with pastel or crisp white sneakers or even heels for a more dressed up take on this trend.
Yesterday I finally found the time to shoot an outfit! My boyfriend usually helps me out and shoots all the pictures outside, but was a little busy with his new job. I’m so proud of him! He’s been thinking of a career change for a while, and decided to take the plunge back in december. He started taking classes and studied at home. He has worked so hard, and started his new job as a software developer only two weeks ago.
In the meantime, I’ve been enjoying a few days off from teaching, working on my blog, writing new music and updating my closet. Take a look at my new Topshop items!
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been an introvert person. It’s a way of dealing with things, and sometimes a way to hide myself. It’s started in school, when I realized I was a bit different: my style, my hair, I wasn’t an outgoing type. People would make fun of me, look at me different, call me names, and I started to question myself. Why can’t I just look the way I want to, and be as quiet as I want to? I started to doubt myself. Somehow people always find it hard: a girl that has an outspoken way of dressing and styling herself, who is a professional singer, who entertains people for a living, is a quiet and introvert girl in her daily life.
I have accepted myself, and know that I’m an introvert person, but am super social when it comes to my person social life or when I’m working as a vocal coach or as a singer or songwriter for other artists.
I still I have my insecurities. Last week I went into hiding. I was tired, had some really bad breakouts on my face and wasn’t comfortable in my own skin. I just needed a week to find some inner peace and battle things out. Please excuse me for being a crappy blogger, but sometimes life isn’t perfect or about Instagram edits and photoshop cannot save everything.
So for today I’ll sharing some of my insecurities and awkwardness.
While we were all busy crying are eyes out (at least I was, don’t know about you) Beyonce released another visual album, entitled ‘Lemonade’. It really is her best album to date, if you ask me! And the visuals are stunning. I’ve made a playlist filled with tracks that were sampled on ‘Lemonade’. Can you recognize them?
Hi everyone! Time to recap all the looks of March let’s have a look!
Shades of grey. After every wash, my hair turns a different color. And after toning it at home every week or so, I decided to give my hair a little bit of an update. This time I used a hair dye, to get a more permanent and darker grey result.
I finally found the time to spend a giftcard that was burning a hole in my wallet since January… I took this highlighter / luminizer home: the Watt’s Up by Benefit! This “champagne” hued cream-to-powder highlighter stick has quickly become one of my favorite make up products. Why? Let me show you!
“Sweet sunshine, lifting me up”
Last week was crazy! A lot has happened in my personal life, and am happy to say that this time, good things. Will tell you more about it soon. The spring weather helped me feel even better, and I wore an outfit I love: a monochrome two piece with a cool graphic print. Take a look!
