The gladiator sandal trend has been recently resurrected and spotted back on the catwalks of Chloe, Stella McCartney, Valentino and other designers. Now that’s nothing new, because in fashion history repeats itself a lot! I personally really like the gladiator ‘boots’, these are the sandals that you kind of wear like boots and would look great under culottes, dresses or skirts.
We can now walk around like a little fashion warriors our selfs, because these sandals are all over the stores. Check out some of my favorites!
Today it’s been 28 years since the release of Nike’s first release of the Nike Air Max sneaker. Adding a cushion of air was introduced by Nike in 1979 and the cushioning grew. The concept of visible air was introduced with the Nike Air Max 1 in 1987.
Today we’re celebrating 28 years of the Nike Air Max sneaker!
What better way to celebrate than shopping a brand new pair of Nike Air Max? Oooh if I was a rich girl….lalala. But I’m not, so I’m just sharing some of my favorite and some of my own Air Max sneakers!
I paid a little visit to my local H&M last week and somehow ended up buying this cute little Blusher & Highlighter Palette. You know when you just need tights and a new bra, but leave with a new skirt, make up and socks? I’ve been wearing this palette every day since, so today I’m sharing you my thoughts on this budget beauty!
Today I’m sharing a little personal story with you. I’ve been in the hospital a few times these last few months, and I wanted to explain why there’s been a lack of updates since last week. Continue Reading →
Culottes or gaucho pants: officially the must-have item for spring and summer! The wide-leg cropped pants are here and they’re not going anywhere. Now it can look a little hard to style these pants, but it doesn’t have to be. Just try to balance the proportions, like styling highwaisted pants with a crop top or tucking in your shirt, so your waistline isn’t lost.
Check out some of my favorite cropped pants below and start shopping!
It’s no secret to those who know me, I love to dress up. Duh…Why else would you start a fashionblog? Well yes, but there’s dressing up daily and dressing up to perform! It’s something I feel is part of the ‘transformation’ I make before I go on stage. It’s part of who I am as a performer, sometimes it’s even part of the performance itself. I just love to style performance outfits! This is an outfit with a little 70’s/boho vibe, with Stevie Nicks as inspiration. (I’m in a Fleetwood Mac tribute band)
After seeing so many make up tutorials featuring this concealer, I couldn’t resist and ordered the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer. I’ve been using the MAC Pro Longwear concealer for a while now, but I felt it was time to try something new.
A striped top, a leather skirt, a backpack, boots and a biker jacket, these are all items that I love to wear. The biker jacket has been a favorite spring/summer jacket for years, it’s so easy to combine. The top and bag are my go to items at the moment. The white leather skirt is an item I found on sale at Zara a while ago, it was love at first sight! I love how it instantly brightens up a look and gives it a little edge. So, all items that I love, and today I’m putting them all together in this new look. It’s the kind of look that I could definitely wear every day.
Actress Oliva Wilde is chosen to be the face of H&M’s latest Conscious Exclusive Collection campaign. The collection that features sustainable and recycled materials such as hemp, organic linen and organic leather, takes inspiration from around the world, like Africa and Japan.
“I love the Conscious Exclusive collection at H&M, both for the look, and also for its ethics. This is how all fashion should be: great style that’s naturally more sustainable,” says Olivia Wilde.
“I love the global influences to this Conscious Exclusive collection and the beauty of the hand-drawn prints, made by one of our talented in house designers. And Olivia Wilde is the perfect choice for this collection, sharing with H&M a commitment to a more sustainable future,” says Ann-Sofie Johansson, Creative Adviser H&M.
The collection looks amazing, I’m going to have a look once it hits the stores, and try out one of these beautiful dresses and that amazing looking suit.
The H&M Conscious Exclusive collection will be available in around 200 H&M stores worldwide on April 16, as well as online.
